ss Great Britain Jelly Art

As part of the Museums at Night festival food artists Bompas and Parr surrounded the ss Great Britain with 55,000 litres of lime green jelly. The jelly, inspired by the lime carried by sailors to combat scurvy, was hand mixed and spread by a team of technicians. After dusk the green moat, the world's largest jelly art installation, is illuminated from below.
