Another Wookey Hole witch shot, although I think the witch is a bit more attractive than the last (sorry Neil).
This is another really simple lighting setup that, thanks in a large part to Times writer Harriet’s witching abilities, is quite striking. The bold red wall, along with the light fall off from the umbrella, really catches your eye.
And it’s so straightforward too. Single speedlite set in slave mode in TTL, triggered with RadioPoppers with an ST-E2. To be honest I think you can get away without the ‘Poppers indoors a lot of the time. Shot in to a reflective umbrella slightly camera right and slightly above Harriet’s eye level.
Quick, easy and effective.
