Black Nore Lighthouse was sold for a quid in 2011. I think that’s bargain. I mean look at it, it’s so pretty (for a lighthouse) and its location, nestled on the coastline of Portishead and overlooking south Wales, is idyllic. More so during the long, warm summer evenings. I took this, my first ‘location shoot’ since lock down began, while working on a tender. Easing myself back in. I got chatting to a couple who retired to this edge of the coast years ago. In the winter the sun sets directly down the Severn channel and looks breathtaking. May have to go back when the nights draw in.
