Everything about Sven Cycles, for me at least, is perfection. From the elegant and practical work on the bikes themselves to the workshop crammed with cycling heirlooms. Even the smell of the place is perfect. This commission started out as a ‘Me and My Bike’ feature for Cyclist but quickly grew into a full photographic tour of Darron’s small part of this world. I could easily spend days poking around the workshop. At each turn your eye is caught by a frame hanging from the ceiling or a weathered tool resting on a worktop – a lifetime of work already behind it. The workshop post will follow, but for now here is the bike featured in the article.
