Karnivool are exceptionally nice guys. And loud. I couldn’t find my earplugs when I was shooting drummer Steve during the soundcheck before their show at the Anson Rooms in Bristol. Years of shooting gigs (notably a number of those without earplugs) now means I get a nice ring to my day if I don’t wear them. I found them for the gig itself which meant I could concentrate more on taking photos than protecting my fragile hearing.
