There’s a golden rule when it comes to shooting drummers at gigs. If you want anything decent you need to be onstage. Quite often they’ll be too far back, not high enough and sat in darkness. Unless you’re one of the upper echelon of drummers like Travis Barker, in which case you’ll be raised above the entire stage and basked in perfect light. I shot Blink 182 for the current issue of Rhythm and they ran this as the two page opener. Looks great!
