Last Thursday I was cruising over the ocean onboard Virgin Atlantic's new 787 Dreamliner 'Birthday Girl', photographing Rudimental and Gorgon City as they performed onboard. This Thursday I'm not. Unfortunately.
Virgin Atlantic have launched a new route from London to Atlanta and this was the inaugural flight (Rudimental aren't playing on every one I'm afraid). We spent a few days in the States covering the press conferences and launch party at the Ventanas hotel, where Rudimental DJed, Larkin Poe sang and much drink was drunk. To finish off the trip we had lunch at the idyllic Serenbe, a utopia founded just a 40 minute drive from downtown ATL. If you're ever in Atlanta for any period of time I can't recommend visiting enough - picket fences, porches, great food and a cute main street. It has a fascinating back story and interesting plans for the future.
